Tuesday Evening Concerts on the square in Old Salem

August 10th   -    Concert #6
August 24th   -    Concert #7

All evening concerts begin at 8:00pm and are held on the town square in Old Salem. There is usually informal prelude music beginning between 7:00-7:15 performed by various smaller ensembles from the area. The concerts are FREE and the audience is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, refreshments and whatever else they might enjoy for a traditional band concert on the town square.
 

Special Summer Season Finale!

Sunday, September 12th - Community Band Festival 3:00 PM on the square in Old Salem

This is the only concert not on a Tuesday evening. The concert date is a Sunday at 3:00pm and it is where we invite the other two community bands in Forsyth County to come join us. The Winston-Salem Community Band directed by Bob Clark and the Bethabara Band directed by Robah Ogburn join us, with the bands playing individually for 30 minutes each before combining for a final selection.

Inclement Weather Policy: If it is raining in Old Salem at 7:00pm the concert will be canceled. The next concert will then be the next date on the published schedule.
